Campus Arrival Atlas

A reference atlas for the digital campus · U.S. English

THE PUBLICATION

About and editorial method

Campus Arrival Atlas is an independent U.S.-English reference publication for people learning the University of Utah’s digital campus.

What this atlas is for

We explain service boundaries: CIS versus UMail, Canvas, UCard, campus networks, orientation and campus apps. Readers should be able to name a goal, identify the responsible official source and prepare a precise question.

This publication does not cover registration strategy, tuition decisions, employee payroll, faculty administration, detailed device or authentication recovery, or personal-record visibility controls. Those tasks have different owners and require their own current guidance.

Publisher and independence

Responsible publisher: tomas. Publication contact: lisatomas@gmail.com.

This publication is not affiliated with, sponsored by or operated by the University of Utah. Subject names identify the subjects of the articles, not the publisher. The publisher funds this website. This publication does not receive affiliate commissions or payment for the articles in this collection.

University names identify the subject of the reporting. We do not use University logos, reproduce login screens, collect credentials, issue campus credentials or provide technical support.

How the map was made

Public official sources were reviewed October 15, 2026. Source notes beside each chapter identify what supports it. The eight chapters use different structures where the reader’s job calls for them: annotated map, correspondence notes, scenarios, process commentary, network reference, arrival plan, boundary comparison and support memo.

The conceptual map, category-routing model and fictional cases are original editorial analysis. The route aid chooses an official starting point based on a service and kind of question; it cannot determine an individual’s eligibility, diagnose an error or submit a request. All route branches remain readable without JavaScript.

This collection was prepared with automated assistance using the public sources cited in the articles. A source-check date records a source review, not a professional certification or an account test. The publisher is responsible for deciding what is published and for assessing reported corrections.

Conflicts and limits in public sources

The student IT guide and Campus IT Help Desk page show different weekend hours. We link the owning support page rather than publishing a fixed schedule. Utah 360’s dedicated page dates prior app replacements to 2025 while the overview guide uses future tense. We use the dedicated app source for that distinction. UCard’s current instructions name Atrium Campus Connect; a broad campus-app description is not substituted for those credential instructions.

The Admissions counselor destination returned an access error during research; its link was verified from the official first-year checklist, but its destination content was not reviewed. A source check is not a live-account test. No private system, student record or login was inspected. Sources may change after review; official owners determine requirements, service access and support outcomes.

Corrections

Use the publication contact address to report a broken source, an unclear passage or an error. Include the article address and a public reference. This website does not access University accounts, accept student records or provide official University of Utah support.

Use Contact for a public-source correction or accessibility problem. Send the passage and a public reference, not student records. The site offers no personalized academic, financial, legal, medical or technical advice.
